Its flavour is peppery and complex with grassy undertones. It is available year-round with a peak season in the summer months. Baby Green zucchini may be boiled, steamed, baked, pickled, deep-fried, braised or grilled. They can be sliced and added raw to salads. They pair well with tomatoes, eggplant, peppers, parsley, olive oil, and roasted meats.
