Sabanak Leaves

They are a member of the Goosefoot family. It is a low growing fleshly leaved annual that forms a heavy rosette of broad, crinkly tender leaves. These are somewhat triangular or ovate and may be flat or puckered. They require cool weather and deep, rich, well-limed soil to grow quickly.
