Baby White Pearl Onion
Baby white pearl onions are small in size with a firm, juicy, and crispy flesh. They are crunchy and mild developing a sweet and slightly less pungent flavour than full-sized onions when cooked. They can be eaten both raw and cooked. The small bulbs are generally used whole, and the skins can be peeled by boiling for two minutes, dropping in ice water, and cutting off the ends. Also, they can be incorporated into stews, gratins, casseroles, soups or added to roasted meats and vegetables.
